Visiting wineries is one of the best things you can do in Santorini because you get to learn about the process and taste a bunch of different wines. These are some of the most popular and famous wineries in Santorini, which you'll likely need to book ahead of time because they get very full during the summer because of the amount of tourists on the island. If you have any other suggestions, please add them in the thread below! These are just a few that I found online.

Domaine Sigalas
Santo Wines
Boutari
Gaia
Gavalas

Did you know that nowadays there are 18 wineries on Santorini and one in Thirassia? They all produce fantastic wines! Do not miss the famous Assyrtiko and Vinsanto, the famous sweet wine from sun-dried grapes!

Assyrtiko is one of the best, I totally agree! I'm so happy that I'm starting to see it in more and more foreign liquor stores

Off the beaten track suggestions for Santorini?

I've been completely mesmerized by the postcard photos of Santorini, but beyond the blue domes and the sunsets of Oia, I'm looking to uncover some of the island's best-kept secrets. What do you suggest?

Have you stumbled upon any villages, beaches, or local haunts here that you loved? Or maybe historical sites too? I am just looking to do something different that what is typical.

Views like this wouldn't hurt!

Best Souvenirs to Bring Back from Santorini

I am going to Santorini soon and I love to shop and get gifts for people.

Could anyone suggest the best souvenirs to take home from Santorini that would give a taste of the local culture and charm to friends and family? I'm looking for things that are unique to the island - something you can't find just anywhere else!

Any tips on where to find these local treasures would be super helpful, too.

Question about Amoudi Bay in Santorini

I am covering a lot of ground on my next Greek trip. I plan to visit Thessaloniki and then move on to Santorini and some of the other Cyclades islands. I have a question about Amoudi Bay. Is this worth seeing?

Someone told me that there are some good restaurants in this area, or am I getting that confused with something else?

Iconic Dress Photo on Santorini

I love the photos I see of people who are wearing that beautiful flowing dress, and the photo is taken with the backdrop of the gorgeous island.

I love the photo and want to do one for myself.

How can I do this? I heard that it is actually a business? Does anyone have any details?

Taking a Boat Tour of Santorini?

I am really excited about my trip to Santorini and wanted to do something different. Was thinking of a boat tour! However, with so many options available, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and would love to hear from those who have experienced boat tours in Santorini before.

I'm particularly interested in hearing about your recommendations for boat tour companies or specific tours that stood out to you. Whether it's a catamaran cruise, a traditional Greek wooden boat excursion, or a luxury yacht experience, I'm open to all suggestions!

What were the highlights of your boat tour? Did you visit iconic landmarks like the volcanic hot springs, the famous Red Beach, or the picturesque island of Thirassia? How was the overall experience in terms of service, safety, and value for money?

Also, any tips or advice on booking the tour, such as the best time of day to go, whether morning, afternoon, or sunset, would be greatly appreciated. I want to make sure I choose the right tour that fits my preferences and budget.
