I have seen footage of fun-looking club atmospheres on Mykonos. I went last year and couldn't find those parties! I want to try again the next time I am in Greece, probably in September.

I’d love to find places that strike a balance between great music (preferably a mix of international and local beats), a lively but not overly crowded atmosphere, and of course, stunning settings that scream ‘Mykonos’!

Does anyone have personal favorites or hidden gems they'd be willing to share?

I've tried to like the club scene in Mykonos but it just didn't gel with me. I love clubs and I love dancing (I am a dancer!) but something is out of step with me at these places. That being said, I keep trying. I think I've tried all of these with varying degrees of success. Honestly, it's worth a try - everyone is different.

Cavo Paradiso - Perched on a cliff overlooking the sea, this club is a haven for dance enthusiasts. With a roster of world-renowned DJs, its parties are legendary and the vibes are unmatched.

Paradise Club - True to its name, this place is a euphoric slice of paradise. Their themed nights are a blast and you'll find yourself dancing till dawn.

Scorpios Mykonos - Not just a club but an entire experience, Scorpios blends excellent music with mesmerizing sunset views and a boho-chic atmosphere. Perfect for those who love to party with style.

Super Paradise Beach Club - An institution within Mykonos' party scene, this club offers a beachfront bash where you can groove to energetic beats with your toes buried in the sand.

Tropicana Beach Bar & Club - Known for its free-spirited fun and vibrant parties, Tropicana will keep you moving with its endless energy and infectious music.

Getting Around on Mykonos

I was in a Mykonos last year as a cruise stop, and I found trying to figure out how to get around to be very annoying. I couldn't find the bus stops, I didn't know how to buy a ticket, I had a hard time finding a bathroom on the way to the bus stop I finally figured out I needed.

I thought I would do some research. What could I have done differently? I found this video to be very helpful.

Best photo spots in Mykonos?

I want to document my next trip to Mykonos with some great photos.

Does anyone have personal favorites or insider tips on the best spots for photography in Mykonos? I'm interested in both, the well-known attractions and those off-the-beaten-path locations that offer unique perspectives of the island's charm.

Also, if there are specific times of day that bring out the magic of these places (think golden hour or less crowded moments), I'd love to hear about that too!

Any tips on local etiquette regarding photography would also be greatly appreciated. I aim to be respectful of the people and the culture during my visit.

Question about Mykonos galleries

I'm planning a trip to the enchanting island of Mykonos very soon and, being an avid admirer of art, I'm eager to explore the local art scene. Mykonos, with its mesmerizing landscapes and vibrant culture, is said to host some exceptional galleries. I'm reaching out to this knowledgeable community for personal recommendations on the best galleries to visit during my stay.

I have a deep appreciation for both contemporary pieces and classical art, so any suggestions that cover a wide range of artistic expressions would be hugely appreciated. Additionally, if there are specific artists or exhibitions that you think are a must-see, I would love to hear about those as well.

Lastly, if there are any hidden gems or lesser-known galleries that you've stumbled upon and found to be utterly captivating, please do share! I'm all for discovering off-the-beaten-path spots that add a unique touch to the travel experience.

What are your opinions about the party scene in Mykonos?

I am traveling to Greece this July with a large group of friends and family and we all have different interests.

Some of the people have never been to Mykonos and are pushing for a longer stay because they want to party.

I did all that when I was younger, and it wasn't the greatest. I loved nightclubs back then, too.

What have been your experiences? I found it to be too hot to party hard. I love to dance, and I couldn't really dance much. The beaches made me feel claustrophobic because there was nowhere to really walk and get away from the loud music!
